If you see "The Rest API is not enabled for this organization" when trying to connect your Salesforce account that means that your Salesforce organization doesn't currently have API access. API access is required for an integration because it is how the connection is made and communicates.
API access comes with the following editions of Salesforce:
- Enterprise Edition
- Unlimited Edition
- Developer Edition
- Performance Edition
You can also inquire with the Salesforce team to see if it's possible to add API access to your current version.
Below is a link to their documentation on API access as well as their support team:
Pro-Tip: If you're current version of Salesforce doesn't support API access, then you can use the Import Wizard to manually upload contacts.
